With over 25 years of comprehensive experience in fiscal management, Brian is currently serving as the Financial Controller at M.E. Dey & Co., Inc. Since December 2018, Brian has played a pivotal role in steering the company’s financial success by overseeing treasury operations, accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

In addition to Brian’s financial responsibilities, he also leads the Information Technology and Human Resource departments, demonstrating a multifaceted approach to organizational management. Reporting directly to the President, Brian’s strategic insights contribute to the overall success and growth of M.E. Dey & Co., Inc.

Brian commenced his career in 1998, and his journey has been marked by continuous professional growth and achievements. A proud U.S. Marine Corp veteran, Brian served from 1990 to 1994, earning two meritorious promotions and the Navy Achievement Medal for exceptional performance.

Educationally, Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Upper Iowa, graduating in December 1997. Complementing Brian’s academic background, he has undergone comprehensive Six Sigma Greenbelt Training in 2005/2006, which has equipped him with the essential knowledge and skills in process improvement methodologies.

Brian’s technical proficiency extends across various systems, including Cargo Wise, Oracle, Great Plains, Computron, UltiPro, TMW | TMT systems, People Soft, Hyperion, Essbase, Net Suite, Karma/COMS (order management systems), FAS (Asset Management System), and Six Sigma tools. Additionally, Brian possesses certifications in Management Essentials, Setting Performance Expectations, Building Relationship Versatility, and Recruiting, Selecting, and Retaining the Best.
