LEADERSHIP

Desiree began her business career in 1989 on the ‘importer’ side of the table, progressing through various roles such as Director of Business Development, Director of Marketing, Director of Global Sourcing, and Director of Merchandise and Sourcing. She brings the “Importer’s Perspective” to our company. Along the way she earned her Customs Broker License and a Master Customs Specialist Certification from the NCBFAA with a dissertation on the Nairobi Protocol. Desiree is also a member of the District Export Council of WI, which works in conjunction with the US Commercial Service, to help Wisconsin based companies find new customers overseas and grow their sales revenue by exporting. With her wealth of knowledge and experience, Desiree is a valuable resource for both our importing customers as well as exporters looking to expand their business. Away from work, Desiree enjoys literature, raising Monarch butterflies (for immediate release!), and adventurous travel around the world.
