LEADERSHIP

Nicole Hess is the Vice President of Customs Brokerage and oversees the import staff for all three M.E. Dey offices. She is a Licensed Customs Broker and Certified Customs Specialist.

She started her career in logistics in 2006, working in shipping and receiving. Nicole joined M.E. Dey in 2008 as an import specialist. She became the Milwaukee import supervisor and obtained her Customs Broker License in 2014. In 2016, she relocated to California to manage the new M.E. Dey Long Beach branch office. She transferred back to the Milwaukee area in 2023 to work out of the Milwaukee office and take on more of a leadership role.

Nicole has a BA in History from Concordia University Chicago and a BA in English from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. She served as a board of director for the LACBFFA from 2021 to 2023. She is currently a member of the board of directors for MITA.

Nicole and her husband are foster parents and have two dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and swimming.
